Target participants: Hemodialysis nurse, nurse working in a hemodialysis department

This course will consist of a lecture part and a practical part. In the theoretical part you will learn difficult cases of vascular access and how utilizing ultrasound device can help in locating and accessing the vein. The theoretical part will cover the difference between blind cannulation and echo-guided cannulation and the utility and purpose of echography. In the practical part, you will get a hands-on training using simulators to put the knowledge acquired in the lecture part into practice.
